Police and Crime Update

Crime and policing update for Thrapston, which includes Islip, Denford, Denford Ash and Ringstead.

Incidents of note reported between Monday, 5 August and Sunday, 11 August:

Break-in of a shed in the garden of a property in Kettering Road, Islip between 10pm on Sunday, 4 August and 10.59am on Monday, 5 August. Items stolen from within.


Break-in of a garage at a property in Kettering Road, Islip between 5pm on Sunday, 4 August and 5am on Monday, 5 August. Damage to garage door caused but nothing appears to be stolen.


Theft of a motor vehicle parked securely in Carlow Street, Ringstead between 1am and 9.30am on Monday, 5 August. Victim still has the keys.


Burglary of a property by forced entry in High Street, Islip between 7pm on Thursday, 25 July and 9pm on Wednesday, 7 August.


Attempt break-in of a garage at a property in Springfield Avenue, Thrapston between 12.30pm and 11.30pm on Saturday, 10 August. No entry gained.


Burglary of a property in Hawthorn Drive, Thrapston between 45 minutes after midnight and 4.49am on Sunday, 11 August. Car key taken and motor vehicle stolen from the drive.


Person/s interfered with the front and rear passenger tyres of a motor vehicle parked in Station Road, Thrapston between midnight and 7am on Sunday, 11 August. The tyres were found deflated.
