Diamond Coaches of Rushden have registered bus service 266 with the Traffic Commissioner, to commence on Monday 21st October. As shown on the attachment, this service will operate on the same route as the current Centrebus service 16 but with a significantly different timetable. Please contact either Diamond Coaches on 01933 698 628 or myself if you want more information about this service.

Summer Reading challenge

Every year Northamptonshire Libraries deliver the Summer Reading Challenge, which challenges children to read 6 books during the summer holidays. It has been proven that children who don't continue reading during the summer have a lower reading age when they return to school in September than that before the summer. You can find out more about the challenge on our webpage: www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/src or on our facebook page: www.facebook.com/NorthamptonshireSRC

Due to the exceptional circumstances surrounding Covid-19 we are unable to deliver this in the normal way and the challenge will be online this year. We are also unable to promote it I the normal way as we can't deliver school assemblies or hold events in the library.
